Is your password ‘123456’?

Posted on: February 14th, 2022 by

If so, you share your password with thousand – perhaps 100s of thousands of others. Password complexity is being talked a lot about in the media these days. You have probably seen messages from your bank or your badminton club membership administrator about how your password should be complex to avoid password cracking.

Last Friday, 2022-02-11, Kolab Now released a number of enhancements, most of which are not directly visible to end users. However one change that could have impact for users is the option to implement password policies.

Take a look at the knowledge base article, to see how password policies can be leveraged by group owners to ensure all users have adequate passwords at all times.

This release also brings some interesting updates for the users in the Private beta program, who now have access to Shared folders, Distribution lists, and Resource management – more information to follow on that.

More interesting updates are on the way. Keep an eye on this blog for news and updates.

Data Migration Process with Audriga:

Posted on: February 1st, 2022 by

We often receive requests from users who desire to move their data from their current email providers to Kolab Now using our partner Audriga’s migration Service.(https://www.audriga.com/en/Index)
eg: “I want to use your services and/or the services of Audriga to migrate my Google Apps accounts to Kolab. How do I proceed?”

The process is simple.

First and foremost, you need to make sure you already have an active Kolab Now account. If not, simply sign up for your desired account here: https://kolabnow.com/signup

Once your account is in place and all user accounts have been accurately created (for Group Account: https://kolabnow.com/signup/group), kindly send us a migration request with which migration option is required and we will send you the necessary information.

For email migration only(fully automated), we will upon request send you a link voucher which you will use to move your emails to Kolab Now. This process is fast and simple. The price per user box is 8 CHF.

Users who require a full groupware migration i.e including calendar, contacts etc might need someĀ  patience as the full groupware migration(15 CHF/box) is assisted and its timing depends on the availability. Once we know that this is what you want, we will put you into contact with our partner directly for any further guided assistance needed.

Kindly see our link below for more information if you desire to move your data yourself manually:
